From June 7 to 16, 15 foreign businessmen from seven countries including South Africa, Egypt and Bulgaria gathered at Great Wall Motors to take part in the first concentrated overseas training of Great Wall Motors in 2012.
This time the overseas dealer representatives receiving training at Great Wall Motors are all sophisticated service station managers, technical leading engineers and assistant managers. As members of the exclusive agents in their own countries, they also shoulder the responsibility to pass the training to their subsidiary staff. To facilitate the current training, the staff at Great Wall Motors released an “Investigation Letter on Concentrated Training Demand” to the dealers in various countries three months ago, acquired and collected the problems encountered in the after-sales services in advance.
With the theme of “innovative service with you and me”, the training adopts theory along with practices, illustrated by such major new vehicle types of Great Wall Motors as Great Wall H6 and C50, and extending to other vehicle types like Wingle, Florid, and Great Wall C30, etc. The training mainly involves the electronic fuel injection systems, engines, gearboxes, anti-theft equipment and electric appliances of vehicles and covers theories, fault diagnosis, as well as case studies, etc. To help the participants fundamentally understand the designing and manufacturing principles of Great Wall automobiles so as to solve practical problems in after-sales, therepresentatives had systematic learning on the theories toward such courses as the anti-theft systems, the gasoline and diesel engines, the electric control system, the electric appliance, and the classis system of Great Wall Motors, and also conducted practical operation of on-site overhauling for some key components in the 10 days of training. It is worth mentioning that experts from such auto ancillary companies as Delphi and United Electronics have conducted training on electronic control system. The dealers all said that they have learnt a lot.
During the training, Great Wall Motors also arranged a visit to the 2nd Science Festival of Great Wall Motors, plus a visit to the 4S store of Great Wall Motors in Baoding and other activities like sports exercises.
Ever since 2009, Great Wall Motors has started to set up different regional sections in the global market , where exclusive agents from various countries has been invited to come to the company to receive concentrated training. It has been the fourth time up to this year. In October this year, Great Wall Motors will hold the second round training in 2012.
The person in charge of the overseas market of Great Wall Motors said that it has been 15 years since the first export of Great Wall automobiles. The word “steady” may best embody GWM’s exploration of overseas market. Ever since the beginning of this year, Great Wall Motors has proposed a brand concept of “Focus, Dedication, Specialization”. In addition, by means of professional technologies and talents, Great Wall Motors provides consumers with professional products and services to meet as many requirements of the consumers as possible and to maximize the benefits of consumers, including the training, which is a very important aspect of benefits. With the expansion of overseas market and the continuous promotion of new vehicle types, the requirements on overseas service have become increasingly tight. Apart from the after-sales teams residing in various countries, trainings toward dealers have become a necessity. In the days to come, the service trainings toward dealers will become an important part of the long-term oversea strategy and should be continued.
